There are roughly 3000 miles from sea to shining sea across cities, corn fields, deserts, reservations, villages, rivers and more corn fields.

Highways stretch and scatter and soar and fade in glittering mirages of heat and dust and concrete.

The road just is.  The journey is what we make of it : a truck driver’s lament, a lover’s return, a cross to bear or an adventure ……. USA Roadtrip Baby !

People have forged their way across this country since time immemorial in pursuit of something greener, Godlier, golden.

We did it because we’re a little nomadic and wanted any excuse not to put our aging dog (Spike, 14 years old) on a long-haul flight.  The cat was another (rather funny) story.

And so it came to pass that G, I, our 2 year old B, 2 month old Q and Spike set out on a grand adventure across the country ….. USA Roadtrip Baby !!
